It all began with the love of an Aussie. It was 1997, mere months before we got married, and we found the cutest little Black Tri Aussie. He looked up at us with the most beautiful golden brown eyes and we were hooked, we named him “Boots”. We soon realized that he needed a buddy just like us and we were off and running. We named our little Red Tri girl “Cheyenne”. This was the beginning our life with this amazing breed of dogs. The more time we spent with them the more we realized that they were the only breed for us. We have since raised and loved 6 dogs as our family pets. I’ve worked them in agility, rally, herding, dock diving and currently show them in conformation.

We live in California, but are spending more and more time at our property in Montana. Just a little piece of heaven full of hiking, swimming, boating and many new adventures every time we go.

We have 2 boys that are as obsessed with Aussies as we are. They help us raise the puppies we breed!

I will continue to show, do dog trials, groom and raise puppies. I take great pride in my breeding program. I’ve mentored under some amazing breeders and we’ve become great friends. When breeding I focus on temperament, structure and breeding the best family dog. I run the full Australian Shepherd genetic panel on the dogs I breed, test eyes yearly, x-ray hips/elbows for dysplasia. The puppies are well socialized and given every opportunity to learn new things each day they’re with me. I believe they leave full of confidence and curiosity.
